  • A minimum of 8 years of structured candidate talent acquisition experience gained in a leading digital/tech, retained search or professional services environment, including a proven history of identifying, attracting, managing, and converting top talent
  • Experience with technical recruiting required; experience with hiring UI/ UX and strategic designers, product managers, and/or those with experience in cyber and risk management strongly preferred
  • Experience building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders through a dedicated focus on service to the business and delivery
  • Experience managing multiple searches and competing demands through strong project management and prioritization skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required, graduate degree in a relevant field a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 30% expected

  • Ability to build deep knowledge and insight on candidate pools in complex sector/ functional topics
  • Ability to utilize existing network and/or build network of individuals in relevant talent pools and technical communities
  • Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills; able to adapt both for audience
  • Strong business acumen, intellectual curiosity, judgment, and communication/advisory skills
  • Knowledge of external hiring market (e.g., the changing landscapes, M&A deals, etc.)
  • Strong relationship develop skills – with candidates spanning junior and senior roles, with leaders of the businesses, and with peers in other talent acquisition and People team roles
  • Ability to manage, coach, and develop individuals to achieve organizational goals 
  • Strategic and forward thinking, with solid influencing skills
  • Naturally proactive, quality driven and an ownership mentality

As a DigitalBCG Talent Acquisition Manager in the Design & Product, & Cyber & Security team, you will:
  • Be responsible for a designated number of Digital/Experienced hiring targets for Design, Product, Cyber, & Security roles
  • Contribute to the definition of and actively shape and lead the execution of recruiting strategies in partnership with business stakeholders, the Director of Digital & Experienced Hire recruiting team and your team of recruiters and talent sourcers
    • Manage the end-to-end candidate journey and experience: sourcing (with support from this group’s Talent Sourcer), screening, assessment, offer, conversion, hire
      • Articulate and present DigitalBCG, each relevant business within it, and the candidate value proposition in appropriate talent markets
      • Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing, screening, assessment and closing approaches
      • Ensure diversity and inclusion strategies are incorporated throughout the steps in the hiring process, from pipeline development to conversion
      • Together with Senior Talent Sourcer, identify and execute opportunities to improve candidate journey, including but not limited to reducing time to hire
      • Team with local office Talent Acquisition teams on supporting in-office candidate experience and interviewing
    • Manage, coach, and develop your team (i.e., talent sourcer & two recruiters)
      • Actively assign target goals to recruiters, manage their efforts against the most critical needs, and provide support and guidance throughout
      • Engage with key business stakeholders as a trusted partner who has a deep understanding of the talent requirements and the work BCG does; you will build a deep understanding of the business, role requirements and desired candidate profiles.  This will include partnering closely with:
        • Platinion and DigitalBCG Managing Directors and Associate Directors/other leaders who influence recruiting priorities for Design & Product & Cyber & Security chapters for Platinion and DigitalBCG
        • Other leaders in DigitalBCG where you have targets to fill
      • Actively build talent pipelines to fill current and future roles
        • Leverage Talent Sourcer(s) on the team to build and maintain pipeline of potential candidates for certain roles (including passive candidates) and assess for fit, background, and interest in BCG
        • Identify when and how to leverage agency partners for small number of specific, often senior, searches
        • Mine referral and direct application candidates for current and future pipeline fit (leveraging team)

DigitalBCG Talent Acquisition Manager

  • Build a solid understanding of the external market and individual networks to build the top of the funnel and systematically bring in talent, examples include:
    • Understand industries and functional practice areas responsible for and become embedded into the community (e.g., join industry groups)
    • Proactively identify candidate opportunities by maintaining a view of the overall landscape and changes in the marketplace (e.g., M&As, etc.)
    • Leverage existing and new relationships to identify movement of talent in the market, and recommend candidates to appropriate roles in BCG
  • Leverage data-driven analytics and reporting to:
    • Provide updates to key business stakeholders to drive decisions and shape recruiting activities
    • Understand critical needs across recruiting funnel and direct the team’s activities accordingly
    • Identify opportunities for continuous growth and improvement to achieve KPIs
  • Team with BCG’s Shared Services specialists in Nexus who support applicant tracking, reporting, scheduling, and overall pipeline management
  • Work as part of an integrated and broader Digital and Experienced Recruiting team that includes multiple groups, led by a Director
    • As part of the Design & Product, Cyber & Security group that includes two Recruiters and a Talent Sourcer
  • Team with the Recruiting Center of Excellence to improve BCG’s recruiting processes (e.g., candidate identification, screening & evaluation) and make more efficient & effective
    • Specifically, in marketing and branding, help define innovative marketing tactics that can build our candidate pipeline
