Bond Assembler - Mukilteo

Orion Industries, a Boeing supplier of the year, is seeking a detail oriented Sealer Assembler to join its Mechanical & Bond team at its Mukilteo location.

The Sealer Assembler plays a critical role in assisting the Lead in evaluating potential new work by determining shop capability and capacity. In addition, the Sealer Assembler position manages workflow in Orion's bond shop, provides technical support to fellow bond employees regarding setup, layout, blueprint interpretation, and process specifications.

The ideal candidate will have the to:

  • Interpret a variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
  • Interpret blueprints and specifications at an advanced level
  • Interpret precision measuring instruments and to record findings
  • Add, subtracts, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
  • Perform minor to most complex bonding assemblies using various bonding agents and chemicals
  • Post-mark various part configurations
  • Rivet, using both hand held and squeeze type riveting tools
  • Give and carry out detailed and involved verbal and written instructions
  • Train others and work effectively and positively in a team-oriented environment

This is a full time position working Monday thru Friday, 6am to 2:30pm.
