BAG AI is working on cutting-edge AI models for business applications. The team is focused on applying advanced natural language processing (NLP) techniques to customer-facing products, such as conversational AI, question answering, entity recognition, and recommendation. We are a hybrid team between research and product, with positions ranging from researchers, applied scientists, to software engineers; and we have the flexibility to tackle challenging and exciting research problems that are highly related to product requirements. Publication in top conferences as a byproduct of work is encouraged. Simultaneously, we track and work on state-of-the-art natural language understanding (NLU) models targeting high-visibility and world-class AI leaderboards. We have previously held the top positions in a few of them, such as GLUE, WikiSQL, SciTail, SWAG, SNLI and SQuAD.
As an experienced developer or scientist, your responsibilities include working with AI researchers and engineers to design and build various deep learning NLP and reinforcement learning models for applications. You may have the opportunity to incubate projects with a virtual team towards future product needs.
- Strong background in one of the following fields: machine learning, natural language processing, deep learning or reinforcement learning
- Strong publication record in top conferences such as NIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, KDD.
- Rich experience in at least one of following areas: question answering, language modeling, information extraction, text classification, text summarization, conversation/dialog, time-series modeling, and related NLP or RL applications
- Rich experience in Python and deep learning toolkit such as Pytorch or Tensorflow. Experience in C# is a plus
- PhD degree is a big plus
