Overall Job Objective

Job Title:Learning Lab Greeter
Salary:$13.32 Hourly
Job Type:Temporary/Hourly
Location: Kirkland, Washington

  • First point of contact for students entering The Learning Lab
  • Must be welcoming and helpful to students
  • Must have good interpersonal communication skills and ease in relating to people from varying educational, cultural, and social backgrounds
  • Must engage students to determine academic needs
  • Must be able to direct student to appropriate person(s) and other resources
  • Must learn all aspects of The Learning Lab
  • Communicate concerns, successes, suggestions, and ideas to The Learning Lab staff
  • Maintain student information confidentiality at all times
  • Must display appropriate and professional behavior at all times
  • May assist students one-on-one or in small groups
  • Must have or be willing to develop teamwork skills
  • Must provide information about services available in The Learning Lab
  • Must assist students in using The Learning Lab's digital schedule
  • Must be willing to perform other duties when needed including student assistance in signing into The Learning Lab, directing students to TRiO offices, or guiding in computer operations

  • Be outgoing with good people/customer service skills
