Position Summary:
The Expeditor/Facilities Technician provides support to the corporate office and vessels (when docked in Seattle). These tasks include but are not limited to: office building maintenance, moving of office building workspaces and local pickup and delivery. This position will be a part-time hourly role that reports to the Assistant Purchasing Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Deliver or pick up any items or documents for all Icicle departments and vessels.
• Light repairs and maintenance around the corporate office. Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems; replaces light bulbs, resets breakers, replaces broken outlet covers, etc.
• Performs minor painting projects including preparing surfaces for painting, painting walls, rails, furniture and other surfaces.
• Office building grounds keeping including mowing, raking, trimming, weeding, planting of parking strips and flower boxes on balconies.
• Custodial duties of office building including restocking of conference rooms, scheduling carpet cleaning, blinds cleaning and/or repairs, sweeping and/or clearing of debris of external areas including sidewalks, deck, balconies, parking areas.
• Responsible for care and arranging maintenance of the company truck.
• The ability to clearly and in a positive fashion communicate with all departments and employees within Icicle is an important aspect of the job function of this position.
• Hangs picture or other wall hangings. Repairs, assembles or adjusts furniture or shelving. May be involved with disassembly, reassembly and setting up furniture in new locations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Qualified candidates must possess a valid State of Washington driver’s license with a clean driving record for at least the last 3 years.
• The ability to clearly communicate in a positive manner with coworkers and vendors.
• Previous experience working with tools, equipment and minor maintenance and repairs.
• Strong focus to overall safety and the ability to follow company safety policies. Including the safe and proper use of handheld and power tools.
• Must be able to meet the job’s physical requirements, with or without accommodation. This includes the ability to use a ladder, perform lifting up to 50 pounds, visually inspect vehicles, building and grounds to assess cleanliness, need for painting, repairs, etc.; possess mobility to stand, stoop, kneel walk and bend to perform grounds keeping, cleaning, painting, maintenance, repairs, etc.
• Prompt and reliable attendance is required.
