The purpose of this position is to manage the U.S. State Department’s Consular Affairs Enterprise Infrastructure Operations ( CAEIO ) team that provides mission critical information technology (IT) resources to approximately 250 overseas posts including domestic Passport Agencies, Visa Processing Centers, DoS annexes, and contractor sites. The team also supports approximately 10,000 worldwide clients including 1,200 Consular Affairs customers at locations in the Washington DC National Capitol Region.
Provide enterprise IT support to include: program management; administration support including inventory management and IT acquisitions support; operations engineering and implementation; operations and maintenance, including Service Desk support and infrastructure, applications and database support; onsite systems administration and hardware support/maintenance at domestic consular offices; enterprise operations monitoring; cyber security operations; and disaster recovery support.
The Enterprise Operations Center (EOC) Manager shall be responsible for managing a complex, 24x7x365 enterprise operations center including overseeing an operations team responsible for coordinating and tracking all Tier II incidents (across the enterprise) through resolution. The EOC manager shall be proficient in designing, installing, configuring, maintaining, and operating tools (such as NetIQ, Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Splunk, Solar Winds, VRealize, and Zabbix) to monitor and proactively manage a global IT environment. The EOC manager shall provide monitoring solutions that reduce time, effort, and cost involved with managing and monitoring applications to assess the availability, performance, and capacity, for the overall health of the environment.

Bachelor's Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, or work experience.
- Intermediate Level ITIL® Certification (or higher) in at least one Service Capability or Service Lifecycle Module.
- A minimum of five years of experience managing an enterprise operations center and managing and leading enterprise operations center staff with skills applicable to a large, complex project environment.

- Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCE) certification
- Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) certification

- Top Secret Security clearance
