Research Coordinator – Part Time 20 hours per week

Job Functions Include:

• Primary person responsible for managing all data collection activities with study participants at agency

• Has direct contract with study participants as primary activity for this position; conduct participant consent and associated data collection activities as required by study protocols; work closely with outside research collaborators on participating tracking, documentation, follow-up interview completion

• Work collaboratively research and site staff to ensure compliance with good research practices

• Work with treatment staff to assure integration of research project with agency policies; uses creative problem solving when necessary

• Supervise all participant data collection activities

• Track research participation and prepares summary reports

• Prepare letters and memos related to research

• Attend research meetings related to functioning of project in the agency; serve as primary liaison between site research team and sponsor; troubleshoots any questions or problems with Research manager

• Perform other agency duties as assigned by the Research Manager

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, public health, sociology or related field

• Experience in a clinical research environment

• Experience in substance use disorder treatment
