Job Functions Include:
Primary person responsible for managing all data collection activities with study participants at agency
Has direct contract with study participants as primary activity for this position; conduct participant consent and associated data collection activities as required by study protocols; work closely with outside research collaborators on participating tracking, documentation, follow-up interview completion
Work collaboratively research and site staff to ensure compliance with good research practices
Work with treatment staff to assure integration of research project with agency policies; uses creative problem solving when necessary
Supervise all participant data collection activities
Track research participation and prepares summary reports
Prepare letters and memos related to research
Attend research meetings related to functioning of project in the agency; serve as primary liaison between site research team and sponsor; troubleshoots any questions or problems with Research manager
Perform other agency duties as assigned by the Research Manager
Preferred:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, public health, sociology or related field
Experience in a clinical research environment
Experience in substance use disorder treatment
