General Introduction
Shoreline Community College offers excellent academic, professional/technical and work force training programs to meet the lifelong learning needs of its community. Dedicated faculty and staff are committed to the educational success of all students.


History of the College
Shoreline Community College opened its doors to just over 350 students in 1964. Shoreline School District Superintendent Ray W. Howard was instrumental in the founding of the College.

Board of Trustees
The Board of Trustees is a five-member board that is appointed by the Governor of the State of Washington and confirmed by the Washington State Senate. The role of the Board is to oversee all operations of the College.
